Falling into Fall

Fall! Probably my favorite time of year, probably because my birthday is in the fall so I often look forward to getting presents. ahhhhhhhhhh, happy memories.

It was fun to see how many different cards we came up with that fit the fall theme, I really LOVE fall! I love the weather, I love harvesting food from the garden . . my name (Traci) means "princess of the harvest" Actually it just means "the harvester" but I was jealous of all those "Sara-types" out there (Sara means princess) so I made an executive decision and changed the meaning of my name. I feel much better about it now. (I think everyone should add a little "princess" in their name and see if you don't feel better about things.)

Friends make life blossom!

This set of cards was from Card Group in July. Katy Bartlett hosted the group at her house, THANK YOU KATY! Your Rice Krispy treats were Delish!!

I love the theme of friendship for card group, it seems so appropriate, because I think card group is all about friends. Hanging out with your friends, making new friends, making cards for your friends, eating treats with your friends. I have really loved getting to know all of you that come to card group - you are my friends.

I thought tonight's exchange was GREAT! Its been so fun to see the new ideas that everyone shares each time.

Thank you Bethany for hosting the exchange at your home and thank you for providing treats, too. . . even though I lost miserably. . I REALLY enjoyed your "Who's who" game. Apparently I am a bit unlearned in the pop culture category. :-) And BIG Congratulations to Carrie who was the all time winner of "Who's who". If had had known there would've been prizes for doing so well, you bet I would have spent more time studying pictures of Justin Timberlake . . (how did I miss that?)

So although we didn't have a theme this time, we still had a plethora of "thank you cards" and I quote Carrie when I say, "You can never have too many thank you cards." Indeed it is true!

Also, thanks to Belinda for bringing a door prize. And since Katy was the winner (a stamp set) I can't wait to see what kind of cards she comes up with next time.

Happy Birthday by Hysuk

The theme for this last card party was Birthday Cards. We met at Jennifer's house and Belinda surprised us with some great door prizes. I was impressed with how many different kinds of birthday cards everyone came up with. I was also impressed with the SIZE of the cookies that Jennifer served, WOW! I don't think I have ever seen such a large cookie - Carrie's DELICIOUS (did I mention that they were tasty?) chocolate cookies were a surprise too. YUM!!
